Saiz is a research assistant in the Economic Mobility, Housing, and Communities policy area. She provides operations support, technical assistance, and qualitative research services for the Stepped and Tiered Rent Demonstration and Supporting Moves to Opportunity projects. She has also been involved in implementation efforts for the Building Evidence on Employment Strategies (BEES) project and the economic mobility program A Better Life. Before joining MDRC, Saiz conducted and coded qualitative research interviews at New York University to demonstrate the sociocultural context of children’s early development through learning both at home and school. In addition, Saiz was a Gueron Scholars Program intern during the summer of 2021. Saiz holds a dual bachelor’s degree in applied psychology and Spanish from New York University.
