Hutchins oversees MDRC’s publications, website, press, marketing, and information dissemination functions. He also helps maintain relationships with federal, state, and local policymakers; national associations; public interest and advocacy groups; foundations; and other research organizations. Hutchins came to MDRC in 2004 with more than 15 years of experience as a communications professional and policy analyst at a variety of social and health policy organizations, including the Center for Law and Social Policy, the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, and the Family Impact Seminar. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Iowa.
