Rubin is a research analyst in the Postsecondary Education policy area, where she supports community colleges implementing random assignment studies and interventions such as multiple measures assessments. Before joining MDRC, Rubin researched Washington, D.C.’s public schools at the D.C. Policy Center, served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for a social services agency in Columbus, Ohio, and provided support to organizing and community-based projects at the American Federation of Teachers in Washington, D.C. Rubin holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in public policy and a master’s degree from the University of Michigan in public policy.
