Martinez is a technical research assistant in MDRC’s Family Well-Being and Children’s Development policy area. She conducts data preparation and assists in data organization efforts for the Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation (MIHOPE) where she processes data from multiple data sources with the goal of understanding the long-term impacts of the four home visiting programs in the study: Early Head Start–Home Based Program Option, Healthy Families America, Nurse-Family Partnership, and Parents as Teachers. Prior to joining MDRC in 2021, Martinez conducted data analysis and performed data collection within the field of botanical sciences. Martinez holds a degree in environmental biology from Barnard College.
