Marta is an operations associate in MDRC’s Families and Children policy area, where she works on the Measures for Early Success Project. Prior to joining MDRC, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Delaware where she studied and disseminated an evidence-based home visiting program while engaging with community stakeholders and leading culturally responsive efforts. Through her work, she aims to reduce barriers to access to high-quality, evidence-based programs and to assist community stakeholders in the dissemination and implementation of programs that support families and children from low-income communities. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a PhD in human development and family studies.
