
David is the director of People and Culture at MDRC, reporting to the chief People and Culture Officer. Together, they oversee the People and Culture department, providing strategic leadership and direction across all human resources functions. In her role, she helps oversee key functions within employee benefits and compensation, people and data analytics, labor and employee relations, and talent acquisition. She is also responsible for staff development and training, performance management and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Before joining MDRC, David served as a human resources director and business partner at Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children grow smarter, stronger, and kinder through the power of media. At Sesame Workshop, she strengthened HR systems, policies, and processes in recruitment and benefits administration. She also held the role of HR and talent acquisition manager at Travelzoo, where she led recruiting efforts across the company’s 10 North American offices.
David holds a master’s degree in human relations with a concentration in industrial and organizational psychology from the New York Institute of Technology and a BA with double majors in English literature and psychology from the City University of New York, Bernard Baruch College. She is an active member of both the national and local chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management.
