David is the deputy director for MDRC’s Human Resources department. Her primary duty is to assist the HR director in managing MDRC’s day-to-day HR operations. She is responsible for talent management (recruiting and staffing), leadership development and training, HR systems, employee relations, and compliance with federal, state and local laws. David also assists in efforts to meet corporate goals for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Before joining MDRC, David was an HR director and business partner at Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help kids everywhere grow smarter, stronger, and kinder through the power of media. David helped to strengthen Sesame’s HR systems, policies, and processes in recruitment and benefits administration. She has also been an HR and talent-acquisition manager for Travelzoo, managing recruiting efforts across the company’s 10 North American offices.
She earned her master’s degree in human relations with a concentration in industrial and organizational psychology from the New York Institute of Technology, and her BA with double majors in English literature and psychology from the City University of New York, Bernard Baruch College. She is an active member of the national and local chapters of the Society of Human Resource Management.
