Amin is a research assistant in the Family Well-Being and Children’s Development policy area, working on implementation and evaluation studies of early childhood interventions that aim to improve the developmental, health, and socioeconomic outcomes of the marginalized communities they serve. In addition, she assists with data organization and project management for the Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation (MIHOPE) project and data collection efforts for the Guilford Readiness of Children for School Study (Guilford ROCS). Before joining MDRC, Amin was a research assistant for Alison Karasz, Ph.D. at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and UMass Chan Medical School, where she provided support on maternal and child health projects that serve low-income Bengali immigrant communities in Bronx, New York. Amin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and women’s and gender studies from Georgetown University.
