Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis Gives Award to MDRC Authors for Synthesis of Welfare-to-Work Studies
The Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis recently announced that David H. Greenberg (University of Maryland, Baltimore County), Victoria Deitch (MDRC), and Gayle Hamilton (MDRC) are the winners of the 2013 Arnold Harberger Prize for Retrospective Analysis in honor of UCLA Professor Harberger’s legacy of benefit-cost work with high standards for relevance and impact. They received the award for their synthesis of benefit-cost analyses conducted as part of welfare-to-work evaluations, which was published in the inaugural issue of the journal in 2010. Their article drew on a 2009 report published by MDRC.
