MDRC is pleased to announce our membership with the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan. ICPSR is a leader in data stewardship, digital curation, and other resources for social science research. As part of their work, ICPSR maintains an extensive data archive of more than 500,000 social science research data files, including data from a number of MDRC studies, as well as planned cross-study research efforts, such as MDRC’s The Higher Education RCT. The ICPSR archive enables researchers to access and analyze data from a wide range of studies, including many conducted by MDRC.

“Our membership in ICPSR is a continuation of MDRC’s long commitment to the research community,” said MDRC President Virginia Knox. “For decades, MDRC has been a leader in making its data files available to other researchers to replicate and build upon our analyses. We are excited to formally join the ICPSR team and look forward to many future collaborations.”
