MDRC Seeks Proposals from Technology Firms to Design a Text Messaging Platform
MDRC invites technology partners to submit proposals for designing a text messaging platform that will be used to send customized text messages as part of a large-scale, randomized controlled trial evaluation sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences and Office of Postsecondary Education.
The evaluation will provide rigorous evidence of the effectiveness of the messaging in increasing postsecondary enrollment and completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) among adults who receive services from Educational Opportunity Centers (EOCs). The evaluation is being conducted by MDRC and Dr. Lindsay Page of the University of Pittsburgh.
Proposals are due before 3 PM Eastern Time on June 26, 2017.
