Last month, Results for America’s What Works Media Project released a 12-minute film that explores the Detroit Promise Path, an evidence-based approach developed by the Detroit Regional Chamber and MDRC that aims to build on the potential of College Promise programs by offering comprehensive coaching, monthly financial supports, and other services to help students stay enrolled and succeed.

Recent interim findings from MDRC’s random assignment evaluation showed that Detroit Promise Path increases the likelihood that Detroit community college students will enroll full time, persist in school, attend summer sessions, and earn more credits.
