How to Implement a Mandatory Stay-in-School Program for Teenage Parents on Welfare
Federal law requires that teen parents live at home and attend school (or an alternative approved activity) in order to receive welfare. While there are no clear answers to many of the questions posed in this guide, the guide presents options and trade-offs as well as practical advice for policy makers.
