Introducing the TANF Data Collaborative
This four-minute video describes the TANF Data Collaborative, an exciting new effort to accelerate the use of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) data, earnings data, and other administrative data for program improvement and evidence building at the federal, state, and local levels.
The TANF Data Collaborative (TDC) is sponsored by two offices in the federal Administration for Children and Families: the Office of Family Assistance and the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation. Led by MDRC, TDC partners include Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, and New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress.
