Introducing the TANF Data Collaborative 2.0
This five-minute video describes the TANF Data Collaborative (TDC) Equity Analysis Awards, an effort to help state and local agencies that administer the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program expand the routine use, integration, and analysis of TANF and other administrative data to strengthen evidence-informed decision making. This initiative builds on the TANF Data Innovation (TDI) project, with a specific focus on examining equity within the TANF program to improve program administration and outcomes for families
To support their projects, award recipients will participate in intensive training and technical assistance provided by the TANF Data Collaborative 2.0 (TDC 2.0) team composed of MDRC and its partners — Actionable Intelligence for Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago, the Coleridge Initiative, and Blu Lewis — operating under contract to the federal Administration for Children and Families.
