O’Donoghue has been with MDRC since 2016, serving as a research associate and data manager in the Postsecondary Education policy area. She focuses on evaluations of comprehensive student support programs and student mental health. O’Donoghue’s project portfolio spans randomized controlled trials such as the Detroit Promise Path and Text Ed, descriptive research like the Study of Contracted Virtual Mental Health Services in Colleges, and technical assistance projects such as Expanding SUCCESS.

Before joining MDRC, she worked in mental health and homelessness services. O’Donoghue holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
