Muzzy provides the MDRC Survey Unit over 25 years’ worth of experience in the survey research field. His management responsibilities include integrating new and emerging data-collection strategies that result in higher-quality measures in MDRC’s research projects. He supports project teams in many ways, including aiding in survey design, coordinating and monitoring the collection of data, and helping organize and document survey-related knowledge for the organization’s long-term benefit. Prior to joining MDRC, Muzzy specialized in the management of large-scale, multimode surveys at a full-service research firm. He also served as operations manager of a data-collection center focused on state and federal government projects. Muzzy earned an undergraduate degree in statistics and holds a master’s degree in social research, completing additional course work in computer science.
